Throwback Thursday

Thanks to supportive parents…of the greatest generation, yep, WWII, I was able to get this baby built. NJ’s first all metal portable, 1/4 pipe ramp.

This was about a week before we were scheduled to head up to New Hampshire for the first ever AFA Masters Finals. At that point the ramp was not quite ready for prime time but we did what we could and this thing did get a lot of use and even saw Ron Wilkerson shred it. Pioneers in NJ. 1985.

For more BMX and brittle crazines pick up my book, “The Average BMXer” available on Kindle, and on Lulu.com in e-pub and Hardcover form.
