The flag sits outside the railhouse in Barnegat, NJ Spring 2019

Eric Fleming jumps a beat up car while the newly built HVTT portable jump box sits to the side. I was injured with a torn acl for the inaugural indoor street comp at grundys ice skating rink in PA but still was involved. Charlie Huber with the first indoor street comp in our area. As recounted from “the average BMXer” book. The late 80’s BMX scene. #bmx #bmxmagazine #njbmx #ridepabmx #pabmx #afabmx #oldschoolbmxfreestyle #oldschoolbmx #oldschoolbmxlife @oldschoolbmxtv @oldschoolbmxfreestyle @animalbikes @bmx
I actually sorta dug this bike. It was full chromoly and the woman who ran the huffy team sent it to me for nothing! So I ran almost a whole season on a huffy bike. I believe it was Phyliss McCollough who ran that team. Behind is me my Mom, Patricia Middaugh who gave me my nose, hair, emotional support and taught me how to be a decent human being. The era is about 1982-83. I’ve been around the block BMXing…never breaking through in a major way but always on the outskirts lending a hand, like all the rest of us “average BMXers”. #bmx #njbmx #huffy #huffybmx #prolightning for more of the story of an average dude on the huffy “national” team, read “The Average BMXer” on lulu.com and amazon.com
